Installation
Choose the install method that matches how you want to run the CLI. Builds from source require Go 1.24 or newer.

go install does not copy the binary into /usr/local/bin. It writes scrubctl to $(go env GOBIN) when set, otherwise $(go env GOPATH)/bin.

sudo mv scrubctl /usr/local/bin/
scrubctl version
Expand-Archive scrubctl-<version>-windows-<arch>.zip -DestinationPath .

Release Archives
Tagged releases are published when a v*.*.* tag is pushed. Each release includes archives for the same primary platform targets that the oc client ships today:

Linux and macOS release archives are .tar.gz; Windows archives are .zip. Each tagged release also includes SBOM JSON files for the published archives.
